Welcome to our tour of Bavaria, including 11 days and 10 nights staying in luxury accommodation and travelling through some of Germany’s most spectacular scenery.
Wander through the beautiful Black Forest, take in the fabulous area of Lake Constance and explore cities and villages steeped in the history that has made this part of Germany such a wonderful region to visit.

DAY 1: Wed May 6 – Munich

Hotel check-in and balance of day at leisure
DAY 2: Thurs May 7 – Munich
Excursion to Augsburg.
A walking tour of Augsburg with a private guide then time for lunch and free time to explore the historic city.
Return to Hotel
DAY 3: Fri May 8 – Munich
A full day tour of Munich with private guide. Explore the famous and infamous sites of Munich. Time for a classic German lunch and visit a ceramic factory and perhaps a chance to design your own ceramic ware!

DAY 4: Sat May 9 –Lake Constance
Depart Munich for Lake Constance
Time to relax and take in the magnificent countryside.
Visit a local village for lunch.

DAY 5: Sun May 10 – Lake Constance
Lake Constance
Enjoy a city tour with a private guide.
Lunch in a local restaurant and visit the magnificent and historical Mainau Island.
Return to Hotel
DAY 6: Mon 11 May – Lake Constance
Lake Constance
Time to cruise on this beautiful lake on a private boat. Have lunch on the boat and experience all the area has to offer.

DAY 7: Tues 12 May – Baden Baden
Lake Constance to Baden Baden
Drive north into the famous Black Forest to the picturesque city of Baden Baden.
Stop for a local lunch enroute.
Check-in Hotel and time at leisure
DAY 8: Wed 13 May – Baden Baden
Baden Baden
Time to explore and to take a walk in the magnificent Black Forest.
Our private guide will take us through places that have made this part of Germany world famous.
A wonderful lunch perhaps with Black Forest cake?
Return to Hotel.
DAY 9: Thurs May 14 – Heidelberg
Baden Baden to Heidelberg
Depart for Heidelberg and lunch in a local restaurant enroute.
Explore beautiful Heidelberg at your leisure.
DAY 10: Friday May 15 – Heidelberg
Heidelberg
After breakfast an excursion to the famous Heidelberg Castle with a private guide and a chance to ride on the funicular.
Following lunch a private walking tour of Heidelberg.
Return to Hotel
DAY 11 Sat 16 May – Tour Ends
Transfer to Frankfurt Airport.
